新课程改革最本质的改变是促进学生学习方式的改变。高中历史《课程标准》的“课程的基本理念”中明确提到,“普通高中历史课程的设计与实施有利于学生学习方式的转变,倡导学生主动学习,在多样化、开放式的学习环境中,充分发挥学生的主体性、积极性与参与性,培养探究历史问题的能力和实事求是的科学态度,提高创新意识和实践能力。”可见,历史教学必须逐步由教师“教学”向“教学生学”转变,让学生的主体性得到彰显。
