用高灵敏度和具多元素分析能力的中子活化分析法研究了取自印度洋海底岩柱样品中钾、铀和钍的浓度,给出了它们离洋底距离而变化的分布模型,实验得出的钾和钍的变化曲线似乎与用~(18)O/~(16)O法以及~(230)Th/~(234)U法给出的古温度曲线基本相符。
The concentrations of potassium, uranium and thorium in rock samples taken from the seabed of the Indian Ocean have been studied by using neutron activation analysis with high sensitivity and multi-elemental analysis. The distribution models for their variations from the ocean floor are given. The experimental results The curves of potassium and thorium seem to be in good agreement with the paleothermic curves given by the ~ (18) O / ~ (16) O method and the ~ (230) Th / ~ (234) U method.
