In recent years, domestic scholars have studied the history of overseas Chinese teaching more and more and paid special attention to the study of the Chinese textbook of Naples Chinese Academy, the predecessor of Naples Oriental University. But so far, most of the research objects are mainly textbooks written by Guo Dongchen, the late Qing court, and almost no mention is made of the contribution made by Guo Zongcai, the priest of contemporary China, in teaching Chinese. This article aims to clues to the historical changes of Naples College of China, a brief introduction of Wang Zucai’s life, and then to analyze the four Chinese textbooks written by Wang Zacai. Three of the four textbooks are still in the form of manuscripts stored in Italian archives.
