阿吾拉勒山是天山地层区伊犁小区的主要铁铜矿成矿区，但由于许多基础地质问题至今尚未解决，制约了找矿工作的突破。鉴于这种情况．本文根据野外调查及采样分析，从沉积学特征、火山岩特征和岩石地球化学特征等多方面对该区中石炭世地层──东图津河组的沉积环境进行了判别分析，证明其形成于岛弧及其周围海盆，主要是弧后盆地等滨、浅海环境。受这种特定的沉积环境和古地理环境的制约，本区的沉积型铁矿床的规模不可能很大．但却可以很富。
Awulalu Mountain is the main iron-copper ore-forming area in the Yili district in the Tianshan stratigraphic zone. However, many basic geological problems have not yet been solved, which has restricted the breakthrough in prospecting. Regarding this situation. Based on the field investigation and sampling analysis, the sedimentary environment of the Middle Carboniferous-East Tudunhe Formation in this area has been discriminated from many aspects such as sedimentary characteristics, volcanic rock features and lithogeochemical characteristics. The arc and its surrounding basins, mainly back-arc basin and other coastal, shallow sea environment. Subject to this particular sedimentary environment and palaeogeomorphic environment, the size of the sedimentary iron deposits in this area can not be large. But it can be rich.
