Since 1972, a wide range of tests have been conducted in the United States and around the world under the designation RH-2915. In 1979, the product was first marketed in California to control weeds in fruit trees. The agent was then used as a broad-spectrum herbicide in soybean fields, including pre-emergence, no-till, post-emergence spraying.
