Objective To explore the impact of seamless nursing management on nosocomial infections in surgical ICU. Methods 100 patients with surgical ICU from December 2014 to January 2016 were selected and divided into control group and observation group of 50 cases by random number table. The control group received routine nursing care of ICU, and the observation group implemented the seamless nursing management mode based on the control group. The incidence of nosocomial infections in two groups and the patients’ satisfaction with medical attitude and medical care were compared. Results The incidences of intraperitoneal infection, respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection and skin and soft tissue infections in observation group were lower than those in control group. Satisfaction rate of medical care attitude and medical care was significantly higher than that of control group. Conclusion The seamless nursing management model can effectively reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections in surgical ICU and improve patient satisfaction, which is helpful for the recovery of patients’ diseases.
