This article outlines a simple and efficient method for initial design of centripetal turbo expander with 50% reaction rate and provides some design charts based on similar criteria that can be used to determine the optimal speed of operation and the main dimensions In addition, a number of incompatible requirements for aerodynamics and manufacturing processes were discussed.
