本文以历史唯物主义群众观点为理论依据，围绕党群关系，对江泽民同志提出的“第三个代表”，从人民根本利益的科学界定入手，提出了现阶段实现代表的基本准则。说明以江泽民同志为核心的第三代领导集体以科学理论为指导，正在实践中深化和发展着历史唯物主义的群众观点。
Based on the historical materialism mass point of view and around the relationship between the party and the masses, this article starts with the scientific definition of the people’s fundamental interests of Comrade Jiang Zemin’s “third representative,” and puts forward the basic guidelines for the realization of the representative at the present stage. This shows that the third generation of collective leadership with Comrade Jiang Zemin at the core, guided by scientific theories, is deepening and developing the mass viewpoint of historical materialism in practice.
