本文以北印度为研究对象,探讨存在于其音乐社会中的“等级性”问题。文章从“等级性”产生的根源——种姓制度开始,对其在印度历史上的传播及影响力进行分析,以说明“等级性”存在的社会文化语境。文章的第二部分和第三部分基于作者的田野考察,阐述了“等级性”在当今印度社会中的种种表现及其对音乐社会的影响,并通过对血缘及家族姓氏、职业世袭化、专业和能力音乐家这几个方面的“等级性”的调查研究,试图找出决定北印度音乐社会音乐家之间社会关系及成就标准的内在动因。
This article takes North India as the research object and explores the issue of “hierarchy ” existing in its music society. The article starts from the root cause of “hierarchy” - the caste system, and analyzes its spread and influence in Indian history to illustrate the social and cultural context in which “hierarchy” exists. The second part and the third part of the article, based on the author’s fieldwork, elaborate on the various manifestations of “hierarchy ” in Indian society today and its impact on the music society. By analyzing the relationship between kinship and family name, , Professional and capable musicians in these areas, trying to find out the intrinsic motivation that determines the standard of social relations and achievement among North Indian musicians.
