Deadrolimns sp ·, a generation a year, with larvae overwintering in the egg shell, is a major cedar forest in the region. Once the outbreak of the insects, often cedar scales and twigs exhausted, resulting in the growth of cypress wood stagnation, or even into pieces died, at the same time larvae and cocoons with poisonous hair, endanger the safety of people and livestock in the forest. In order to explore the prediction method of the occurrence of larvae and provide a scientific basis for timely prevention and control. In August 1987, we collected more than 300 large cypress caterpillars (cocoon) from the forest and reared them. After the emergence, the adult male and female adults were inoculated into the cages for copulation and spawning. Every day from 18:00 to 20:00 randomly selected a certain number of eggs, and remove the remaining eggs. Daily will be
