Polymers with large birefringence can form multilayer mirrors whose reflectivity remains constant or increases with increasing incident angle. The most important feature of this multilayer interference stack structure is that the difference in refractive index in the thickness direction (z direction) is related to the plane direction of the film. This difference produces a variable that determines the presence and size of Brewster's angle of the interfacial interface and controls the determination of multilayer optical stack
