2007年10月17日,BMW Welt(宝马世界)开幕仪式在慕尼黑隆重举行。慕尼黑市市长 Christian Ude、宝马集团董事长诺伯特·雷瑟夫博士以及800多名嘉宾和媒体代表出席了仪式。BMW Welt 由世界顶级建筑师 Wolf D.Prix 教授设计,是一座集新车交付中心、技术与设计工作室、画廊、青少年课堂、休闲酒吧等为—体的综合性多功能建筑。它新颖独特的双圆锥形设计风格,与周围的宝马总部四缸大厦、宝马博物馆以及奥林匹克公园相映成趣,成为巴伐利亚洲首府慕尼黑的一个时尚新地标。
On October 17, 2007, the opening ceremony of the BMW Welt was held in Munich. Christian Ude, Mayor of Munich, Norbert Reesef, Chairman of the BMW Group, and more than 800 guests and media representatives attended the ceremony. Designed by world-renowned architect Wolf D. Prix, BMW Welt is a comprehensive multi-purpose building incorporating new car delivery centers, technology and design studios, galleries, youth classes and lounge bars. Its unique, new, double-conical design parallels the surrounding BMW Headquarters’ four-cylinder mansion, the BMW Museum and the Olympic Park as a stylish landmark in Bavaria’s capital, Munich.
