苗族长篇叙事诗《仰阿莎》展现出来的审美价值正是苗族先民们通过对自然界中动物、植物、太阳、月亮等审美意象的类比想象,传达出对朴素婚恋观真善美统一的审美心理以及以婚恋自由精神价值的凸显为审美价值的终极追求,而文化符号作为少数民族文化表现体,是以某一种文化形式为代表,在相应的背景中融入丰厚的象征意义。符号化过程就是文化符号和相应的背景含义演变为双方的相互作用与融汇。
