前言目前,世界各国从选矿厂排出的尾矿量每年达数十亿吨。废弃的尾矿不但占据而且还污染了大片土地,同时污染水源和大气,还会造成惨重的尾矿坝溃决等事故,因此破坏了自然环境和生态平衡,对农田、山林和居民区造成严重危害。为了减少以至消除尾矿造成的危害,多年来世界各国进行了大量研究工作。试验研究和实践表明,最好的办法是将尾矿加以利用,变废为宝,化害为利。另一方面,人类社会生产的发展,矿物原料的短缺,也促使人们寻求充足而廉价的原料。同时,当今科学技术的发展,也使尾矿有可能得到广泛有效的利用。
