Synthesis of a N-methyl hematoporphyrin, and by UV-Vis spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and elemental analysis methods. The properties of methyl radicals in the presence of metal ions were investigated. After cell culture experiments show that the compound has a good killing effect on cancer cells. The inhibition rate of leukemia up to 63%.
