Although merchants and handicraftsmen are equally oppressed and exploited, they live in cities and evade the relative hardships of tracing. Moreover, the guild drama and church opera must pursue festive harmony. The dwarf repertoire of high-class and high-income people can only be concentrated in rural folk operas.
