社会问题是社会事实的客观反映,是社会进步的必然产物,也将在社会发展中得以调适和解决。一个社会现象或事实成为社会问题的过程,正体现出社会学的学科特质。社会学以群体为研究对象,拥有定量与定性相结合的多元研究方法,以及多重研究范式和理论视角,并具有反思性、批判性、想象力、人文关怀等学科精神。因而,社会学是科学精神与人文精神并重的一门学科。
Social issues are an objective reflection of social facts, an inevitable result of social progress and will be able to be accommodated and resolved in social development. A social phenomenon or the fact that social problems become a reality manifests the discipline characteristics of sociology. Sociology takes the group as the research object, has the multiple research methods combining quantitative and qualitative research, as well as multiple research paradigms and theoretical perspectives, and has the disciplinary spirit of reflectiveness, criticism, imagination and humanistic concern. Therefore, sociology is a discipline that pays equal attention to the spirit of science and humanity.
