(First and Others,F&O)合作者”分配模式。
The co-authors’ academic contribution allocation model provides a fixed or flexible credit assignment formula and is widely used to assess the contributions of co-authors of scientific publications. This paper presents a novel “First and Others (F & O) collaborators” distribution model. By introducing the adjustment parameter α and the weight β, the credit assignment has the following new attributes: (1) The flexibility and applicability of academic contribution allocation can be expressed by modifying the formula (adjustment parameter α) or emphasizing individual author contribution (adjustment weight β) (2) The first author’s contribution is calculated separately from the other authors, and the second author’s contribution shows a turning point based on the change in the alpha parameter. The paper presents the corresponding theorems and proofs, revealing the new features of the “first and other (F & O) collaborators” distribution model, which should be contributions to the basic theory of bibliometrics. The F & O model can also be applied to “emphasize the first author’s academic contribution” strategy. The F & O model was compared with other methods by applying a set of data from chemistry, medicine, psychology and Harvard-Chicago survey. The optimization of some determination coefficients showed the advancedness of this method.
