“种”是农业“八字宪法”中的重要组成部份,“有了优良品种,即不增加劳动力、肥料,也可获得较多的收成。”小麦育种的目的,是选育高产优质的新品种,为社会主义革命和社会主义建设服务。要做到多快好省地选育适应一定地区或具有广泛适应性的高产优质的小麦新品种,必须深入研究和掌握亲本及杂种后代的遗传变异规律,并以此来指导育种实践。我省当前选育高产优质的小麦新品种,既要注重抗逆性、早熟性,亦要注重抗倒性。
“Variety” is an important part of the “character constitution” of agriculture. “With good varieties, we can get more crops without increasing labor force and fertilizers.” The purpose of wheat breeding is to breed new and high-quality new Varieties, for the socialist revolution and socialist construction services. It is necessary to study and master the genetic variation rules of parents and hybrid offspring in order to guide the practice of breeding how to breed more quickly and economically the new varieties of wheat with high yield and good quality adaptable to a certain area or with wide adaptability. In our province, the selection of high-yielding and high-quality new wheat varieties should focus not only on stress resistance and precocity but also on lodging resistance.
