据14个县区20多个剖面的生物地层学研究,确定了黔中隆起和宜昌上升造成沉积间断的时限.虽因地而异,但大都限于奥陶纪阿石极阶(Ashgillian)至志留纪鲁丹阶(Rhuddanian).虽然黔中隆起和宜昌上升都表现为区域性的上升运动,但源于华南板块在其东南方向受其他块体的水平挤压作用.奥陶纪末南极冰盖凝聚导致的全球海平面下降,使黔中隆起和宜昌上升(特别是前者)表现更为明显并露出水面.
According to the bio-stratigraphic studies of more than 20 sections in 14 counties and districts, the time limit for the depositional discontinuities due to the rising of the central Guizhou and Yichang was confirmed. Although it varies from place to place, it is mostly confined to the Ashgillian to Rhuddanian. Although both the central Guizhou uplift and the Yichang uplift are characterized by regional ascending movements, the south China plate originates from the horizontal extrusion of other blocks in the southeast direction. The global sea level decline caused by the convergence of the Antarctic ice sheet at the end of the Ordovician period made the rise of the Central Guizhou Province and the rise of Yichang (especially the former) more obvious and revealed the water surface.
