在1997年召开的全国革命历史档案资料目录工作会议上,为加速建成全国革命历史档案资料目录检索体系,会议提出无纸化管理及建立国家级具有权威性的革命历史档案文件级目录数据库,把档案信息纳入国家信息的轨道。笔者认为保证这一目标实现的关键是做好档案文件的前处理工作。即档案人员要按照一定的标准、规范,通过对档案文件进行分析,将有检索意义的信息如:文件题名、责任者、主题词、分类号等进行著录标引,形成一套完整的二次文献。档案文件著录标引是否标准与规范直接关系到编目数据的质量,关系到档案检索体系的前途与未来。以下结合革命历史档案文件几个主要项目的著录标引工作谈点粗浅的看法。
