在浩瀚的印度洋西岸,有一座曾经以旖旎风光与和平安宁著称于世的历史名城。她,就是位于非洲东北角的索马里首都摩加迪沙。 摩加迪沙建城于公元九至十四世纪,曾是西亚和东非一带商贾云集、生意兴隆的贸易口岸。在内战爆发前,这里的新老建筑交相辉映,大街小巷绿荫蔽日,杂花生树,香气漫溢,沁人心脾。 摩加迪沙市内楼房一般不高,多为平顶,具有阿拉伯或波斯风格,有的顶层饰有盾形女墙。这些建筑物大多以纯白为基调。从飞机上俯瞰,摩加迪沙是一片银色的世界,在蔚蓝色海水的映衬下,晶莹夺目。为此,她被誉为“印度洋上的一颗银珠”。
On the vast West Indian Ocean coast, there is a historic city once famous for its charming scenery and peace and tranquility. She is Mogadishu, the Somali capital located in the northeastern corner of Africa. The city of Mogadishu was built in the ninth to fourteenth centuries AD. It was once a trading port where merchants and businessmen in West Asia and East Africa gathered and their business was booming. Before the outbreak of the civil war, the new and old buildings here shone with each other, the streets covered with shade, miscellaneous peanuts, fragrant, refreshing. Mogadishu city buildings are generally not high, mostly flat-top, with Arabic or Persian style, and some decorated with shield-shaped female top wall. Most of these buildings to pure white tone. From the plane overlooking Mogadishu is a silver world, against the blue sea, crystal clear. To this end, she was hailed as “a silver bead in the Indian Ocean.”
