“共情”原本是心理学术语,现已广泛运用到心理学及文艺学等诸多领域,在文艺作品的欣赏中,能让读者、观众(或听众)沉入其中,与作品中的人物命运产生共鸣的艺术效果我们也称之为“共情”。电影《黄金时代》因其时空交错的结构和独特的讲述方式所造成的“间离”的艺术效果,导致观众无法“入戏”;编导过于“中立”的讲述立场,未能抓住人物的精神内核,让观众无法喜欢角色;忽略对作家创作及文学成就的介绍使观众无法对传主产生敬仰之情。所有这些导致电影《黄金时代》成为一部无法与观众产生“共情”的实验电影。
