档案和资料工作必须提起各方面的重视。国家的档案和资料是进行各方面工作和进行科学研究工作的根据。几年来,档案、资料工作已逐步有所改善。地质部建立了地质资料局,地质资料已经过初步整理。对外贸易部已经完成了解放以来的档案、资料的编目工作:上海现存约五千万件历史上的档案、资料正在组织大批干部着手整理。国家档案局对整个档案、资料的整理,曾经做过初步规划,中央和各地都已经着手做了一部分工作。目前中央国家档案馆正在兴建。有些单位已经把一部分资料整理出版。水利部曾经委托大连工学院代为复制资料送各有关单位。这些工作成绩是应该肯定的。但是,在全国的档案、资料工作中也还存在着不少的问题。许多部门的资料未经整理,无从利用;至于解
Archives and information work must bring all aspects of attention. The archives and information of the country are the basis for all aspects of work and scientific research. In recent years, the file and information work has been gradually improved. Department of Geology established a geological data bureau, geological data has been preliminarily sorted out.
