测定七叶树、白玉兰的完整种子和破皮种子的吸水量、透气性并对种子不同组织提取物进行白菜籽发芽试验,同时对七叶树、白玉兰种子进行层积处理并解剖观察。结果表明:七叶树种子休眠的原因为种胚分化不完全和种皮透气性差、含有少量发芽抑制物质;白玉兰种子休眠的原因为种胚发育不全以及果肉所含抑制物。
The water absorption and air permeability of whole seeds and broken seeds of Aesculus hippocastanum and Magnolia grandiflora were measured, and the germination tests of the seeds of different tissues were carried out. At the same time, the seeds of Aesculus and magnolia were stratified and dissected . The results showed that the reasons for the dormancy of Aesculus hippophae were: incomplete embryo differentiation and poor permeability of the seed coat, with a small amount of germination inhibiting substances; the reason for Magnolia seed dormancy was embryo hypoplasia and the inhibition contained in the pulp.
