中国当代文学直接承继了近代以来文学强国新民的传统。抗日战争以来, 把文学发展的基点放置于广大农村, 则是社会情势之必然。在工农兵方向指引下, 当代文学向现代文学的积存提供了一批具有经典意义的作品; 同时对作家创作个性和不同风格的排斥, 也造成一种濒临绝境的贫乏。新时期文学改变了已往单一的流向, 但又面临市场经济状态下, 一些作品中意义被消解, 审美功能被忽视的挑战。中国作家天生地要承受时代的重压, 把这种“重”用各自的方式表现出来, 是作家不可推卸的历史责任
Chinese contemporary literature directly inherited the tradition of becoming a powerful nation and bringing new people in modern times. Since the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, placing the starting point for the development of literature in vast rural areas is an inevitable result of the social situation. Guided by the direction of the workers, peasants and soldiers, the contemporary literature provides a batch of works of classic significance to the accumulation of modern literature. At the same time, the exclusion of the writer’s personality and style also creates an impoverished poverty. Literature in the new period has changed the previous single direction, but it also faces the challenge of eliminating the meaning in some works and neglecting the aesthetic function in the market economy.
