Mitochondrial DNA mutations are closely related to the occurrence and development of biological aging and senile degenerative diseases. The elucidation of the regularity of mitochondrial DNA mutations and their relationship with aging and senile degenerative diseases will provide molecular evidence for the prevention and treatment of these diseases.
