随着社会对医学院学生综合业务能力要求的不断提升,学生的英语能力尤其是专业英语能力显得非常重要,而学生学习专业英语的最大障碍之一就是医学词汇。如果把医学词汇习得和专业英语知识习得同时进行,不仅会加重学生的负担,而且也会影响学生学习知识的效率。这此,辽宁何氏医学院开设了医学公共英语的模块,并在这一模块的学习中帮助学生突破专业英语词汇大关,使学生在头脑中搭建医学专业基础课的英语表达的知识结构。在教学中辽宁何氏医学院强调在泛在的学习环境下学习英语词汇,以学习者为中心,通过医学故事等手段培养学习兴趣,总结构词法,以身体器官为单位整理英语词汇,并建立以网络为基础的泛在学习环境,从而帮助学生学会医学公共英语词汇。
With the continuous improvement of the comprehensive medical service requirements of medical students, the students’ English proficiency, especially the professional English proficiency, is very important. One of the biggest obstacles for students to learn English is the medical vocabulary. If the medical vocabulary acquisition and professional English knowledge acquisition at the same time, not only will increase the burden on students, but also affect the efficiency of students learning knowledge. This, Liaoning Ho’s Medical School opened the medical public English module, and in this module to help students break through the professional English vocabulary mark, so that students in the mind to build a basic course of medical professional knowledge of the English expression of knowledge structure. In teaching, Liaoning Medical College emphasizes learning English vocabularies in a ubiquitous learning environment, focusing on learners, cultivating interest in learning through medical stories, summarizing word-building methods, organizing English vocabulary with body organs as a unit, and establishing a Network-based ubiquitous learning environment to help students learn medical English vocabulary.
