CCTV “Observation and Thinking” section broadcast several times in a row the topic of “worry about Chinese characters”, which ravaged the confusion of words on the streets. However, it seems that the spearhead specifically refers to the writing of traditional Chinese characters. The “educators” think that writing traditional Chinese characters affects the education of pupils who love the motherland’s writing. “Experts” think that traditional characters destroy the unity of characters, program directors need people to think about it, simplified characters have been introduced for 36 years, and traditional characters have “come back” The phenomenon is worrying. After reading, I was puzzled. Simplifying Chinese characters and traditional Chinese characters had always been complementary to each other. Looking at the formulation in the program seemed to be a confrontation between the two armies and incompatible water and fire. I must first declare that I am in favor of the standardization of Chinese characters. For example, the signs of some cities and the writing of “right foot” are unacceptable. Thanks to the knowledge of traditional Chinese characters, I know that the simplification of the word “street” Joke However, the old name plate is written in traditional Chinese characters. What really hinder the four modernizations is something that I really baffled.
