英语语言学是我国高等院校英语专业培养计划中的一门基础必修课,其重要性不言而喻。然而在实践教学过程中,由于该门课程的教材内容深奥,理论性强,加之需要学生较高的英语语言基础和互动能力,导致最终的教学效果不是十分理想。笔者调查和分析了当前我国高校英语语言学教学的现实状况和其中的主要问题,并结合自身的教学经验提出了改进教学现状的方法与建议,希望能为以后的教学提供相应的借鉴和参考。
English linguistics is one of the basic compulsory courses in the training of English majors in colleges and universities in China. Its importance is self-evident. However, in the process of practice teaching, the final teaching effect is not very satisfactory due to the profound teaching contents and strong theoretical content of the course, as well as the students’ high English language foundation and interactive ability. The author investigates and analyzes the current situation and the main problems in the teaching of college English Linguistics in our country, and puts forward the methods and suggestions to improve the teaching situation based on his own teaching experience. He hopes to provide reference and references for future teaching.
