在市场经济环境下,医院必须认识到,自己提供的是一种医疗产品,去满足客户的需要,在此过程中,必须关注医疗病案管理的法律规范、效率、服务和质量。在从旧体制转向市场化的过程中,如何制定一个好的服务策略和服务监督体系,从法律角度搞好病案管理,定分止争,对医院来说至关重要。在市场化的大趋势下,医院的竞争不但是人才和设备的竞争,又是医院病案管理模式的竞争,不从法律角度去做好医院病案条例的规范管理,就算其它方面再有竞争力,若院长也遭逮捕,则再大的竞争力也会付之东流。在新形势下,从法律角度去管理病案,是我国医疗改革的重大保障,对医院发展有着十分重要的意义。
