我场广大职工积极响应毛主席“绿化祖国”的伟大号召,坚持科学造林,营造人工林7.8万亩,其中桉树4万多亩,松树1.98万亩。近年由于砍伐面积较多,森林蓄积量有下降趋势。显然,若森林未成熟就过早地砍伐是会造成浪费的。因此,研究桉树生长与成熟龄,已成为急待解决的课题。 Our staff and workers responded positively to the great call of Chairman Mao and “greening the motherland.” We insisted on afforestation by science and created 78,000 mu of plantation including 40,000 mu of eucalyptus and 19,800 mu of pine trees. In recent years, due to more deforestation, forest stocks have declined. Obviously, it would be wasteful if the forest is prematurely cut down. Therefore, the study of eucalyptus growth and maturity, has become an urgent issue.
