Zhang Wenrong, unlike the final fate of most of the volunteer POWs in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, was escorted by the U.S. military to 740 Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan for training after being subjected to six months of abuse by prisoners of war and forced to serve as a spy. Is there anything shameful than being a traitor to the motherland and an enemies of the people? Zhang Wenrong is full of grievances and indignities, and wants to end the struggle with his own life. Eventually, he dismisses the idea and begins to look for Opportunity revenge. When he blew up the enemy plane with astonishing feats and escaped from the devil’s cave, Zhang Wenrong was sent back to China for detention for up to seven years. In June 2000, a verdict that was late for the entire 43 years finally brought a successful conclusion to the life of this volunteer veteran.
