刘凤起(1867-1933年),字未林,晚号真庐老人,江西南丰人,晚清进士,诗人、书画家。于光绪二十九年(1903年)中进士二甲,任翰林院编修等职,旋赴日本留学法政。回国后辞归江西故里,被巡抚冯汝骥奏留南昌,任咨议局议绅、宪政筹备处咨议、教育总会会长等职。辛亥革命后,曾任江西民政长,民国十一年(1922年)后定居上海,以卖字画为生,民国二十二年(1933年)病逝。

After returning home, he resigned his hometown in Jiangxi and was ruled by Feng Ruji, governor of Nanjing, to serve as councilor for the Provisional Legislature of the State Council, to consult with the Constitutional Preparatory Office and to hold the post of President of the Education Association. After the Revolution of 1911, he served as civil affairs chief of Jiangxi. After the eleven years of the Republic of China (1922), he settled in Shanghai to sell paintings and calligraphy for a living. In twenty-two years of the Republic of China (1933) died.
