For humans and most mammals, when fertilized, the center of the spermatozoa is formed as the center of the body. Under the action of the body of the asthenum, the male and the female are close to each other and fuse together to complete the first mitosis. Nearly 200 proteins are found in human sperm centrosomes. Centrin protein is the most studied at present. To further study the different protein functions of sperm centrosomes will help to understand the reasons for the failure of fertilization. In the field of assisted reproduction, at this stage we can only assess the integrity of the sperm neck from a morphological point of view to evaluate whether the sperm center body is normal.
