随着移动通讯技术的发展和3G时代的到来，面对手机拥有数量最多的大学生读者群，高校图书馆开展手机图书馆服务将是必然趋势。高校图书馆需要通过开展手机阅读和推广，利用手机移动远程学习、手机微博和微信等新型服务方式，提高馆藏文献资源的利用率，以便于更好地为大学生读者服务。
