汪曾祺在文学史上是具有承先启后意义的小说家,他把被中断的散文化小说传统延续下来。代表作《大淖记事》是一篇典型的散文化小说。大多取材于他的童年和家乡的生活,既不特别设计情节,也不有意制造矛盾和冲突,而是专注于风俗民情的表现,从而使小说呈现出如日常生活一般的自然形态。同时,作家又能在小说的“散文化”中创造一种生活的“诗意”。正是在这个意义上,汪曾祺对自己在小说文体的散文化上是有着充分自觉的。
Wang Zengqi was a literary novelist with a priori significance in the history of literature. He continued the tradition of interrupted prose novels.
