Objective To explore nursing interventions and effects that limit the use of antibiotics in the prevention of surgical infections. Methods According to the length of stay, surgical patients were divided into control group (1192 cases) and intervention group (1058 cases). Both groups restricted the use of antibiotics. The control group received routine nursing intervention and the intervention group received targeted nursing intervention, ie, 1 058 cases of surgical elective surgery Patients, the rational use of antibiotics into the hospital quality management system for management of the target to assess the risk factors for preoperative care, and the implementation of targeted nursing intervention. Results The incision healing in the intervention group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the incision infection rate was significantly decreased (all P <0.01). Conclusion The implementation of targeted nursing interventions to limit the use of antibiotics in patients can effectively prevent postoperative infection and is conducive to postoperative recovery.
