我国手表工业批量生产始于1958年,到1989年累计生产手表5.81亿只。其中1979～1989年累计生产石英电子表1.45亿只。自1987年起,我国手表工业产量已跃居世界第四位,仅次于香港、日本和瑞士。轻工系统列入国家定点的表厂37家,另有7家电子表厂,元件、材料厂29家,拥有职工11万人,截止1989年底手表工业上交税利193.9亿元,是投资的12.5倍。所以手表行业的兴衰是与国民经济和人民生活息息相关的。
China’s watch industry mass production began in 1958, 1989 cumulative production of watches 581 million. Among them, 1979 to 1989 produced a total of 145 million quartz electronic watches. Since 1987, China’s watch industry output has risen to fourth in the world, second only to Hong Kong, Japan and Switzerland. Light industry system included in the designated national watch factory 37, and another 7 electronic watch factory, components, materials plant 29, with 110,000 workers, as of the end of 1989 the watch industry to pay taxes and profits of 19.39 billion yuan, is the investment 12.5 times. Therefore, the rise and fall of the watch industry is closely related to the national economy and people’s lives.
