编辑同志: 贵刊1981年第1期登载了“mesangium”汉译的争议。这种方式很好,只有通过争议才能达到统一。这对我很有启发,使我想到肾脏病的另一词nephrosis的汉译也有争议的必要。我国对原发性肾小球疾病的临床分类中“肾小球肾病”的英译应该是glomerulonephropathy,还是glomerulonephrosis? 上一医等主编的“内科学”中译为前者,一些国内杂志的汉译英也译为前者。我国所指的“肾小球肾病”临床上相当于类脂质肾病lipoidalnephrosis,病理基础是微小病变,1966年第一次国际“肾脏病命名和分类”会议上将微小病变命名为glomerulonephrosis。

The clinical translation of primary glomerular disease in our country, “glomerulonephritis” English translation should be glomerulonephropathy, or glomerulonephrosis? On a doctor and other “internal medicine” translated into the former, some Chinese translation of the Chinese English is also translated as the former. China refers to the “glomerular nephropathy” clinically equivalent to lipid-like nephrosis, pathological basis is minimal change, in 1966 the first international “nephropathy naming and classification” conference will be named micro-lesion glomerulonephrosis.
