在南美洲安第斯山脉的崇山峻岭里,镶嵌着一颗光辉灿烂的明珠,这就是举世闻名的“高山湖王”——的的喀喀湖。它雄踞于普纳高原的北部,横跨秘鲁和玻利维亚两国。湖面海拔3812m,面积8330km2,是世界上高海拔、面积最大的淡水湖。平均水深100m,最深处达280m。虽地处高原,由于群山环抱,水温并不很低,年均温在13℃以上,无冰期,终年可以通航。
In the mountains and mountains of the Andes in South America, a brilliant pearl is inlaid. This is Lake Titicaca, the world-famous “mountainous lake king”. It is located in the northern part of the Pune Plateau and spans Peru and Bolivia. With an elevation of 3812m and an area of 8330km2, the lake is the world’s highest altitude and largest area freshwater lake. The average water depth is 100m and the deepest point is 280m. Although located in the plateau, surrounded by mountains, the water temperature is not very low. The average annual temperature is above 13°C. There is no ice age and it can be navigable all year round.
