三峡精神是民族精神的重要组成部分,它至少包括“科学求实、节约高效、创新进取、团结协作”的三峡大坝精神和“顾全大局的爱国精神、舍己为公的奉献精神、万众一心的协作精神、艰苦创业的拼搏精神”的三峡移民精神。2006年5月20日下午两点,长江三峡工程大坝在浇筑完最后一仓混凝土之后全线封顶,达到185米的设计高度,提前一年建成。这样一个伟大的创世纪工程,把中国人的百年梦想变成了现实。然而,就这样一个耗时约10年之久、历经3080个昼夜浇筑的大坝,整个建成庆典“花费不到1000元,时间不到8分钟”,没有设主席台,没有一张桌子,没有一把椅子,也没有纪念品,参加活动的代表每人只领到了一瓶矿泉水。就在大坝建成前后期间的各大重要场合,国务院三峡建委副主任、中国三峡总公司总经理李永安多次深情地表示:“移民问题举世瞩目,关系到三峡工程的成败”,“我们三峡大坝能提前建成,要特别感谢库区伟大的百万移民的无私奉献和支持!”一位外国首相曾叹道:“世界上百万人口以下的国家有20几个,百万移民,相当于搬迁一个国家。”到底是一种什么精神让三峡大坝提前一年完成,让炎黄子孙为之扬眉吐气?是一种什么精神让百万人民撤离家乡,让世人为之动容?那就是三峡精神。三峡精神内涵是什么?对此,本刊记者专程赴重庆三峡库区和湖北三峡坝区进行深入探访。
