数十年来,台北市形成一条条书店街,这是出版繁荣的象征。目前,台北市约有百余家书店,大致分别集中在重庆南路、台湾大学周围、中山北路一带,东区书店群,牯岭街及光华商场旧书市。除旧书市外,这些书店群中,最早成型的是重庆南路书店群。日本统治时代,台湾中文书店仅有文化、雅堂、国际、中央、文斋,屈指可数,分散于北、中、南部。台北的延平北路、万华一带,倒有多家日商经营的日文书局。重庆南路则有一家专门经营当时所用日文教科书的“新高堂书店”,位于目前东方出版社所在地。1945年
For decades, Taipei has shaped a bookstore, which is a symbol of publishing prosperity. At present, there are about a hundred bookstores in Taipei, roughly centered around Chongqing South Road, Taiwan University, Zhongshan North Road, the East Book Store, Lingling Street and the Guanghua Shopping Center. In addition to the old book market, these bookstore group, the earliest forming Chongqing South Road Bookstore group. In the days of Japanese rule, the only Chinese bookstore in Taiwan was culture, Ya-tang, international, central and vegetarian.
