按压火丁法治疗婴儿吐乳症是全国名老中医董廷瑶独创而特效的外治经验。经临床观察３３７例呕吐患儿，手法组总有效率为９４．６％；西药配对对照组疗效６０％；安慰剂组有效率１３．３％。对其中９６名患儿作ｘ线钡餐检查，均见到不同程度的胃食道反流现象，手法止吐后复查５８例占２９．３％已无反流（１７／５８），２９．３％偶有反流。动物实验观察到本法能使猫胃内容积扩大，胃节律性活动受抑制，从而遏制了吐乳。治疗后３个月随访１９５例，总有效率仍达９６．９％，止吐后儿童生长发育加速，并发症改善，达到优生优育的良好结果。

Animal experiments observed that this method can make the cat stomach volume expansion, gastric rhythmic activity was inhibited, thus curbing the spit milk. Three months after treatment, 195 cases were followed up, the total effective rate was still 96.9%. Children with antiemetic treatment accelerated their growth and development, and their complications were improved. The result was good for prenatal and postnatal care.
