以面向新世纪的沪港出版全方位合作为主题的第八届沪港出版年会7月21日—7月26日在香港举行。本次年会广泛讨论了当前中文出版的形势。当前中文出版出现了许多新问题,中国内地出书品种越来越多,引发了出版的质和量、新书与重版、进销存等方面的新变化;中等收入群体扩大,带来了读书口味的新变化;国有图书出版社面临的竞争、传统出版做大的前景、电子出版物的发展前途、新一代编辑出版人的产生途径等出版经营问题的新变化,上海和香港近年的文化经济发展,给这两个独特发达都市的图书市场带来了新变化;会议对这些问题作了深入的讨论,并对沪港出版、发行、印刷领域各种合作的可能性作了探讨,其中不少出版理念具有先进性和前瞻性。现选刊如下,以供读者参考。
