在研究各种短路电流计算方法存在问题的基础上，针对渤海地区海上几个大油田电力系统的模式和特点提出了IEC扩展法及解决这种电力系统模式的短路电流计算实例与软件，供海上油田基本设计及详细设计计算短路电流时参考。
