In a high-power accelerator resonator, Joule heat generated by an electromagnetic field causes the wall temperature to increase, causing the cavity to deform and change the resonance frequency of the cavity, which is called frequency shift. Analyzing the effect of power on the frequency shift is an important task for the accelerator cavity design. This analysis involves the coupling between high-frequency cells, thermal cells and building block modules. At present, there are mainly three kinds of coupling analysis methods: 1) a combination of three-dimensional electromagnetic field software MAFIA and ANSYS; 2) a combination of Superfish and ANSYS; and 3) an ANSYS multi-field coupling method.
