在液晶显示器中,低分子量液晶材料在经过摩擦处理的高分子取向层作用下,能够发生取向.这种高分子取向层对于制造具有优良光电特性的液晶器件是十分重要的.在大多数场合下,所采用的薄膜状高分子取向层是由聚酞亚胺类材料制成的,因为它们具有优良的耐热性、粘附性、加工性和取向效应.本文对液晶显示用聚酰亚胺高分子材料及其当前流行的取向机理进行了综述介绍,并提出了自己的一些看法.
In liquid crystal displays, low molecular weight liquid crystal materials can be oriented by a rubbed polymeric alignment layer. Such a polymer alignment layer is very important for manufacturing a liquid crystal device having excellent photoelectric characteristics. In most cases, the film-like polymer alignment layers used are made of a polyimide material because of their excellent heat resistance, adhesion, processability and orientation effects. In this paper, the polyimide polymer materials for liquid crystal display and its current popular orientation mechanism are introduced, and some of my own views.
