“八股文”,现在知道的人,恐怕极少极少了。可是,从明代初到清代末(十五世纪初到十九世纪末)的几百年间,读书人想从科举得到出身(入仕途的途径)的人,没有不被它束缚得梦魂颠倒至死不悟的。封建统治阶级的头子用它来麻醉、控制读书人的思想,使他们不致“胡思乱想”、“为非作歹”,或“谋反叛逆”。使他们由这条道路走入“皇权”控制的仕途迷宫。只要看看《儒林外史》里“范进中举”那一段描写,就可略知“科举”毒害读书人的头脑之深了!范进那样疯疯癫癫,正是中毒之后的形象描画。 那末,“八股文”那样大的魔力,倒底是什么样子?何以有如许大的“神通”?现在,没有必要找一篇标准的“八股文”向大家介绍。只想从它的谬种
