我国研究数学的历史悠久,并早已发展出了一套数学名词。至十六世纪初,开始出现外国数学书籍的译本,于是又引进了一些国外的数学名词。据个人所知,已出版的数学名词汇编(整理已有的和增添新名词),主要的有本文附表中所列的六种,其中(解放前的)前两种只包括纯数学名词,而(解放后的)后四种则兼及应用数学。从附表的名词约数栏中,可以看出解放后我国数学的飞速发展以及科学技术对数学的需求之增长,可以预料在不久的将来这种形势会更加
Our country has a long history of studying mathematics and has already developed a set of mathematical terms. By the beginning of the 16th century, translations of foreign math books began to appear, introducing some foreign mathematical terms.
